About the Owner
Brook Lyter is a creative and successful entrepreneur with an interesting path to gaming. Growing up in Sanborn, ND, Brook started his business career in the entertainment and bar industry, establishing a mobile entertainment company (Powerplay DJ) and a bar business in Detroit Lakes, MN (Islands). After selling the bar, Brook created a free-to-play poker promotion hosted at bars and restaurants around the country (Free Poker Network) and shortly thereafter made a splash in the poker world when he placed runner up in a televised World Poker Tour Event in the Bahamas in 2006. A couple of years later Brook expanded the business into charitable gaming. A slow and steady sales philosophy and commitment to quality products and services have led all of Brook's business to be very successful, and the gaming side grew from 1 to 10 employees over the past decade. Brook lives in West Fargo with his 17-year-old daughter Kaylee who is a senior at West Fargo HS. Kaylee is a 4.12 GPA student and player on the WF Packers Softball State Championship team. Brook's passions are playing golf and baseball, riding his Harleys, playing the piano, and of course, playing poker.
